Stop counting lines, start reading music!
Practically everyone starts reading music notes by counting lines with sayings like "Every Good Boy Deserves Fruit". Its a great way to start, but a lot of beginners never move past counting lines.
Notespotting is a "memory" style game. We break free of mnemonics and use birds to represent the different notes. As you become better at finding the notes, the birds begin to hide behind umbrellas. As you play along, the birds play familiar tunes.
The app gradually introduces you to notes, and gives songs with notes you already know. When its played like a matching game, you dont even need to know very much about reading music. There are lots of hints along the way.
